That’s me, Claudia Karoline Friederike Kircher.
Born on 31 March 1966 in Tübingen-Lustnau. Raised in Untergröningen, a small village in the rural Ostalbkreis (Baden-Württemberg).
My family of origin was strongly influenced by craftsmanship, my father, a carpenter, my mother, a seamstress — together with my 3 siblings we enjoyed the freedom to live-out our creativity. Designing with a wide variety of materials was something I did from early on.
After graduating from high school and an initial internship in graphic design, I studied visual communication at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, where art is the main focus and serves as a field of stimulation, criticism and review of design ideas.
I am passionately a designer & artist — have lived in beautiful Zurich for 20 years. I am now Swiss. Design & art, and above all, nature give me strength, vibrancy and meaning.
